Acceptable Use Policy
This policy sets out how our service may and may not be used. It forms part of our Terms of Service, and applies to you and to anyone who uses your connection.
1. Your responsibility
You are responsible for all activity on your connection, including use by your staff, contractors and guests. Please make sure everyone who uses it understands the basics of this policy.
2. Things you must not do
You must not use the service to:
- break any law, or help anyone else to;
- infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights;
- send spam or bulk unsolicited messages, or operate open mail relays;
- host, distribute or link to malware, phishing pages or other malicious content;
- gain or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, network or data;
- launch or take part in denial-of-service attacks, port scanning or similar activity against others;
- store, share or access objectionable material, including any child sexual abuse material, which is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the authorities;
- harass, threaten, defame or abuse others, including in breach of the Harmful Digital Communications Act 2015; or
- do anything that threatens the integrity, security or stability of the network.
3. Network integrity and fair use
The service is uncapped, and we do not shape traffic in normal use. We may, however, take reasonable steps to manage activity that threatens the network or materially degrades the service for others. If your usage ever raises a concern, we will talk to you first wherever we can.
4. Security
Please keep your own equipment and passwords secure, apply updates, and tell us promptly if you believe your connection or equipment has been compromised so we can help.
5. Protective filtering
The protective filtering is a safeguard, not a licence. You must not deliberately circumvent it in order to reach content that this policy prohibits.
6. If you breach this policy
If you or a user breach this policy, we may suspend or disconnect the service in line with our Terms of Service, and we may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities. Where it is practical and lawful, we will give you notice and a chance to put things right first.
7. Reporting abuse
If you become aware of misuse of our service, or want to report abuse coming from our network, contact us at support@icthub.ai.
